Hi guys,

ordered myself a bucket of clear casting resin to use for a river on my new board, seen here;

http://www.allscotltd.co.uk/RESIN-&-GEL-COATS/CLEAR-CASTING-POLYESTER-RESIN/p-91-584/

Although they also stock transparent colouring paste for the resin, I was wondering if it would work to just use a drop of citadel paint or one of the GW washes into the mixture?
I was thinking of a green river for the martian-red terrain, nice contrast?

Not too sure with regards to this product but, having experimented with regular resin I would say probably not. When I have added paint the resin eventually reacts as it hardens and bubbles up! The easy thing is to just mix a small quantity of resin and add a little paint and see how it goes. It may also be possible to get proper colouring liquids but I don't know where you would purchase any. You might be able to contact the seller you got your resin from and see if they know of any relevant products

Alright thanks guys, will just go for the trans dye then.
Cheers Slip but this place is literally 5mins around the corner, works out cheaper after postage etc.
