Well... it is. As a result of the fragility of trukks, a lot would hinge on me going first. Either way it would be a 1st turn flat out so in going second, some boys will be stuck at home and miss out. Since meganobs can have Ld issues (i.e a few plasma shots) I took them in minimum groups. In order to not test from loosing 1 guy I would need 5 man squads. That costs too much and I think their effect would be limited as often 5 klaws are not required. So by taking multiple small ones, some will go some will stay. Take what I can. Biker nobs will give me a bit of speed later in the game. By the end of turn 2 there wont be much left for the trukks to do (if they're still alive) so the bikes give me a bit of late game mobility. Typically I would expect them to still be around since they're durable. The purpose of the shoota trukks is so they can go out front. If they're shot down first, it wont be such an issue since they can work at range. If sluggas get knocked out early, they've got a long walk ahead of them. Flyboys are for the usual. I don't expect to rule the skies with just 2 dakkajets, but they'll do something. I cant see lootas working so well because they would be left back at my table edge alone. That seems quite vulnerable to me as it wouldn't take much for an enemy transport or flankers to come out and mince an expensive unit. Just looking for suggestions, particular weaknesses and maybe some interesting alternative to the meganobs.

Trukks arent as bad as most people think. Half the time they go first. When they dont go first, half of that time, its night fighting. Ive played the trukk list a few times in 6th and really enjoy it. Whuch ever trukk that gets blasted early, the contents go after your homefield OBJ.
Ive had success using Bikers like you have listed along with the Biker Boss. Personally, I like taking 2 Biker Bosses. I also use 5 trukk boy units, the sixth troop selection being the bikers.
From there our lists are different. I like Lobbas and Lootas and an ADL. The ADL provide cover to the trucks in the games where I dont go first and it isnt night fighting. I like Lobbas and lootas because they can both engage units 48 inches away. I can really isolate the opponents army between thew range of these weapons and the speed of the trukks and bikes.

Could you not get a KFF Mek into one of those trukks to make them way tougher?
Even so, thats a hell of a lot of trukks, and if the MANz trukks get blown you can dump your boys out of another and go pick them up!

Haha I like the way you think. Could so imagine the meganobs 'hitchhiking' and smashing the boys out. I umm'd and ahh'd about the KFF mek. I did want to have one in there as he would be very beneficial. Originally there were 3 dakkajets. Then I realised I had no HQ and dropped one for the warboss. I dont want to loose another for the mek as I'd either go with 2 jets or none at all. Then I'd have to get some lootas or something to make up for it. So currently am at a bit of a loss for what I could exchange.
A good point about the home objective kaiser. The intent had been to simply rush the opponent and sacrifice home. So on objective placement I'd just put all of mine in his area since thats were Ill be anyway. To get enough guys to form a home base though I would have to loose more than the dakkajets. Just 15 lootas and an ADL goes for 275. So it would also be eating into other units. The meganobs most likely. That puts me in a similar situation to the dakkajets. I need a bit of redundancy to make them work so 2 megatrukks may work but 1 definitely wouldn't.
To make space for a KFF mek, I could loose the 2 klaws on the slugga mobs and get big choppas instead. Then if I dropped 1 biker that would give me 90pts spare. Enough for a KFF mek and armour I'd say.

Drop a Nob from the bikers? Three bullet catchers to deliver one PK seems a bit much. There should also be plenty of cover from those ramshackle Trukks flying about the place to help them get to the enermy in one piece

The painboy can catch bullets too... Although in reality I'm not too worried about the nob bikers being shot up. They're not so easy to kill at range so will probably get to CC. Who I go into CC with will depend if they survive (no force weapons please). For the most part the nob bikers will free lance as they have their own 4+ cover so wont need the mek. Its the trukks Ill probably try to keep together if I was to get a KFF. I should be able to fit 3-4 under it then have the rest behind for cover. My main concern is how much loosing those klaws on the sluggas will effect them. It should be okay though, I think there are enough floating around to hurt heavy vehicles. After all how many are AV14 at the rear.

8 trukks? Awesome!! Got to try this out myself. Have you playtested this list at all? Does it work? Not much shooting going on, but who cares when you sit on your opponents face at turn 2
