First list with new codex. Wanted something that may be a TAC list. The list has zero crisis suits which I kind of think is neat. Not sure if I have enough firepower or sustainabily. I feel there may not be enough targets.

I haven't played any games with Tau at this points level, but just a heads up, Longstrikes HH doesn't need a BSF, his suit has one built in. Yay one point saved!

Other than that, maybe you should try and fit in an ADL? You're army is basically a gun line, might as well give all the infantry 4+ cover.

That's all I got. If you go with Trip-tides, there are some lists you will have trouble against, but so is life.

I'd swap the etherial for space pope

I don't think the second hammerhead is all that necessary as long strike alone should be able to take out top priority threats really quickly and riptides are strong enough to take out tanks as well especially if you nova some ions.

id rather see more pathfinders overall as a you will be missing half your lights on average.

Shielded missile drones are bad. if one of them dies you could have a running riptide which is sad.

I think more pathfinders and maybe some anti air broadsides would be good.

I suggest trying Ionhead instead of a Railhead, for the AP3 fun. If there's AV14, then keep a Railgun, but otherwise, the IonCannon is now far better for flattening the footie game that 6e has become.
