Can Zandrekh remove the stealth gained from night fighting? I know his rules says you remove the USR and the unit can no longer gain it for that turn. My question is when is the stealth from being more than 12" away during night fighting kick in? After I shoot the unit, before I shoot the unit, or anytime night fighting is on?

He cannot take Stealth granted by NF away from a unit as the unit does not have Stealth until later in the turn. He can however, prevent them from gaining Stealth from NF.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Uhh what? How does that work? If I can't take it away then I wouldn't be able to prevent them getting it no?

You don't have to take away the rule to keep them from getting it. You can nominate any unit in LOS and take away Stealth (if the unit has it). Either way the unit can not get the Stealth special rule until the start of your next turn.

Right. When he selects an enemy unit in LOS, it BOTH takes away the indicated special rules (if the unit has them) AND prevents the unit from gaining them, by any means.
