chaos hell blade fighter as a heldrake?

I just hate the heldrake model, so am looking for alternatives for it. The best i have come up with is the forgeworld hell blade fighter for chaos. I was thinking of scratchbuilding a flamer turret below it instead of the TL reapercannons to count as the baleflamer. Is the fighter roughly the same size as the drake? Also would you allow it to be used as a hel drake?

I cannot vouch for the size but that thing does look kinda cool. I'd be OK with it assuming it was treated as being hte same size as the Heldrake (if it is not already)

It's a possibility. Size-wise you're in the neighborhood. There's also the option of converting the kit to look more like a 'talon.

i used the Hellblade fro mine. I used the flamer turret froma Baal Predatro and put it underneath betweenthe autocannons. Easy conversion.

I don't see why not, do it "counts as" and maybe put some extra wingspan on it

At first was thinking of converting the drake kit to look like the fighter, but then just decided that the fighter looks much more cooler. Thx for the flamer conversion idea! Will propably magnetize it and the other guns somehow, so can remove the weapons if needed depending on what i bring or as a damage result.

Oh and could this thread be moved to P&M section as i intended to post it there, not here in YMDC

It would be uber simple to magnetise. The autocannons Just sit flush to the hull and the flamer slots in if you file a flat section of the ventral hull.

I just couldn't be bothered to buy magnets.
