Ok so I am a hardcore virgin, looking for feedback on the lists below

List 1 - PButcher 35 pts

List 2 - Harkevich 35 pts

Which list would be most effective? I have other jacks that I could sub in but Conquest is not painted (and won't be in time)
Suggestions? Comments? Concerns?

Well one last list in an attempt to elicit a response, what about

Iron Wolf - 35pts

plus

Greatbears or MoW Drakhun w dismount

very shooty as opposed to very smash your face of last list
Obviously a serious attempt to keep the model count very low but remain effective
5 minutes is not a lot of time to get a turn done so....

I like Sorsha for Hardcore. Her spells and Feat are great for this format.

You can get some top of 2 Caster kills for the mage hunter awrd.

You mean PSorcha or Esorcha? While I can see how she would be effective with solid support units but the other casters I listed seem to me to work better with the small number of models that I am aiming for in this Hardcore tourny

So after some practice I found that the Harkevich list had too many templates to get done in 5 minutes so it is the Butcher

I'd say play it in scenario and see how it does.

I would also recommend maybe looking at a Devastator in place of he Spriggan just because of his special ability that will help clear out infantry swarms. And it would free up a point for a War Dog.

My only concern would be the low body count and the slow speed of the army.

This particular tournament is strictly deathmatch so speed is not a huge necessity as I know where my opponent is going to be

I would like the wardog too but..... if I had another kodiak I might run that instead....but I dont
