Hey everyone I'm a new guy here on Dakka Dakka. I started the hobby in 2001 when Lord of the Rings was released. I didn't really have an interest in the game as much as I did painting the miniatures. Eventually I started buying Warhammer sets, but nothing really stuck.

I took a few years off and now that I am older... and out of college, I decided to get back into it! The best part is, I work in video games so other guys at the office either used to play or are currently getting back into it once they heard a few of us are trying to get games going. I started reading the codex, the rule book and played a few sample matches at the local GW.

Currently I am building up a 40K Ork army. I don't know exactly how big I am going to get it initially in order to match what everyone else has at work. But I do know that I plan on getting everything I can for it! Painting is a big part of it and I love it!

I also have a space marine army in the works that I started before the Orks. I will probably shoot to have both at a playable/ equal state by the end of the summer latest! I will get some pics up asap of my works in progress. They aren't much compared to what I have seen on the forums! Its a learning process right?!
