If I were you I'd go: Kharn with Khorne Berserkers in a Land Raider, and then have the Chaos Space Marines footslogging with maybe a lascannon

"Listen closely Brothers, for my life's breath is all but spent. There shall come a time far from now when our Chapter itself is dying, even as I am now dying, and our foes shall gather to destroy us. Then my children, I shall listen for your call in whatever realm of death holds me, and come I shall, no matter what the laws of life and death forbid. At the end I will be there. For the final battle. For the Wolftime."Leman Russ

Using what he's got.

Kharn
5 KBs
5 CSM with VoLW
12 Cultists with MoK
Heldrake
Oblit with MoN
Oblit with MoN

Thoughts are, overall sit back and make them come to you. Use the Oblits for cover fire against whatever moves towards you (and keep them seperate so you can deploy them apart and shoot at different things and with different guns), then use Kharn and the Cultists as a counter assault unit that protects your troops. Depending on the mission you can win most games by protecting your zone and the midfield. Once the Heldrake is on the table the game will probably be yours. Kill his troops in mass quantities and watch them all run, now you control your side, he is in shambles on his side and you win. This is how I play my Nurgle themed army and I rarely lose. The Heldrake at this points level will just be unstoppable. Most opponents probably won't have any effective way to deal with it.

Thats my $.02, hope it helps.

I don't give a damn about GW, their crap rules, their extortionist prices, hot models, limited edition books, Digital Release and spam in a box armies. I don't care about Forgeworld or their shoddy resin and their wacky unit rules or whether or not they're allowed. I don't care. I don't.

I love Warhammer 40000 and if you want to try to spoil that for me, or impose your own vision of it onto mine, then you can go suck a lemon.

Gives them hatred (Space Marines) and more importantly +1 leadership, they won't run as easy especially if you keep the champ alive.
