I have recently discovered a small cache of my old CSMs from childhood (mid 90s) and am wondering if something that is nearly 20 years old has an increased or decreased value in the current market?
I could see it going either way, collectors desiring them or people disliking them because they look silly. Does anyone have any experience with this, as I have no desire to keep them and just want to know what is a reasonable expectation?
People sometimes pay more for the older models because of all the finecast mishaps. So if they are in good condition, strip them down and put them on eBay.
try to figure out what models you have. things like old white dwarf models, limited ed box promos from those old mega battle boxes are worth a bit of money.
also diazamanette models are worth a pretty penny and i want some
Thanks to a lack of childhood motivation most of them are unpainted, so i guess i was smart in that regard.
I am pretty sure they are 2nd edition, as I still have the boxes for them and none of them say Rogue Trader on them. Also, I probably got into it around 95 which would be post Rogue Trader.
