Just wanna make sure on this...markerlight tokens are removed before any actual shooting is done. Does this mean if say a unit has 4 markerlight hits, ANY unit firing at it can ignore its cover and get +2 BS for example? Or is it like the previous codex where only one unit firing at it can benefit from the markerlight hits? Thanks in advance.

Whatever unit expends tokens it gets the benefit.

Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.

Yes my Colour is Black but not for the reasons stated mainly just because it's slimming... http://imperiusdominatus.blogspot.com

If I light up a MC with 10 marker lights I get to use 10 marker light tokens when shooting at it for any unit's I want and for whatever buffs I want.

So I could drop 4 with one unit to ignore cover and bump the BS, drop another 4 for the same benefits with another unit and then launch 2 seeker missiles from my skyray.

It's not the size of the blade, it's how you use it.

Just to clarify because i have seen people use it this way. Once the coversave is removed is it removed for every unit or just the unit that expended the marker tokens?

For example there are 6 marker tokens on a target and 2 separate Firewarrior squads.

Could the first unit of Firewarriors use 4 tokens to boost their BS to 5 and remove any cover saves.

Then could the second unit of Firewarriors use the last 2 token to boost their BS to 5 and still benefit from the fact the Enemy squad has no cover save?

In short, once the cover save is removed, is it removed for the remainder of the turn regardless of how many units shoot at the target?

The cover isn't technically "removed". The 2 markerlight option gives the unit's weapons the "ignores cover" special rule -- so only the unit expending the tokens gets to benefit from it.

Been out of the game for awhile, trying to find time to get back into it.

As the previous post plus the codex is fairly clear.

No, not as above -- the "Scour" rule for markerlights gives the weapons firing the 'ignores cover' special rule. The subsequent unit that fires upon the target will not benefit from 'ignores cover' because they haven't spent 2 markerlights to activate the 'scour' rule.
