A Space Marine is a zealot, born to a fate of servitude to humanity. They are physically and mentally enhanced through genetic engineering and mechanical implants. They are conditioned from childhood to worship Him. To protect Him. To serve Him. And from this, the titanium will of an Adeptus Astares is born-a fiery wrath to vanquish the foes of the God-Emperor; the xenos, mutants, heretics.
Sometimes these relentless Battle Brothers will fall in the midst of battle... and their service to the Emperor is not quite fulfilled.
It is for this reason that the reported anomaly 'The Ghosts of

A blinding flash of light engulfing the battlefield, accompanied by a screeching whine. When the white fades, spectral figures march onwards towards the enemy, bearing heavy resemblance to Adeptus Astares Space Marines of the

The same light will be experienced, and the apparitions will have vanished, leaving only a desolate battlefield for the claim of the Emperor.

So basically I've been toying with this idea for a while now, and would like to move it to model format. The general concept is-Space Marines who die in battle with a strong will and sense of uncompleted purpose are 'brought back' in a spectral, ghost like form- they emerge en masse and destroy their enemies when most needed, and are relentless in their metaphysical state.
Imagine the Army of the Dead from
LOTR meeting the Ultramarines, 'kay?
And the name, ideally, would be Ghosts of Ultramar.
