this feels like a silly question, but what glue should I be using to attach the clear acrylic flight stand that comes with the stormtalon kit to the plastic oval base? super glue or plastic glue? I only ask because I don't want to craze the acrylic if I can help it.

cheers

I used super glue, but like you said it makes the clear plastic frosty but that's easily hidden using basing materials. The super glue I used was loctite super gel control super glue.

Same here. i us that superglue for all rsin/finecast/metal models now. Worlds better than GW stuff.

I use Loctite Ultra Control Gel for it (everything really)

No crazing, I think because it's a gel and less evaporation of the chemical takes place.

If you do have a problem with crazing, either 1: take a Q-tip with rubbing alcohol on it and rub the crazing off, or 2: brush some Future acrylic floor polish on it, and it cleans it up quite nicely.

Do a little testing, read around, get some Google work, and see what options you've got, and how

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?

I ended up using plastic glue and it seems to have worked great. I did a spot test ahead of time to see if it would cause crazing, but didn't have any problems with it.

cheers, guys
