Morning all, I have just finished uploading the pictures for both of my Tactical Squads and the full army picture. At some point I will retake the pictures when the Sun is behind a cloud and not behind the house which adds a blue tint to the pictures. Hopefully everyone enjoys these pictures.

Looking good, I'd suggest maybe making the Sergeants a little more individual though. Maybe just a couple of extra purity seals on one, or a weapon/head swap?

Funnily enough the Sgt for the first squad has more purity seals than the second :p

They all look very good, well done. And I must say I do like your choice of color!

Are you going to use transfers to detail them? They look a nice tabletop standard as is. I think I would have used a more contrasting colour for the eye lenses and purity seal wax, but that's just my way

Green is a more contrasting colour for the wax though I agree the lenses on the brown helmets could do with being another colour. But apart from tidying up some of the paint jobs here and there and perhaps trying some free hand, they are done.

This is what I've been waiting for!

After all is said and done, I think I can finally decide that brown is DEFINITELY working with this army! I like the simplicity of your color scheme, it manages to capture the no-nonsense side of the heraldric look while at the same time managing to not look silly.

If I may offer a suggestion: chapter symbols. Those bare shoulders just cry out for SOMETHING. Decals are always a good option. You can always steal another chapter's symbol, or invert it if you want a new look. If you want a wholly original symbol, you can always buy decal paper for your printer, and just print your own symbols out. A little Microsol/Microset and you're in business!

Not entirely sure what to have as chapter symbol, perhaps a plant pot? :p

LOL! The army I bought actually HAD pot leaves as the chapter symbol when I got them. (It looks like crap, by the way.)

Did you have any fluff for the army? Are they based off of anything?
