Can anyone help me make a necron army using destroyers and make it fairly competitive?

what i would want in the army would be:
destroyers
destroyer lords
wraiths
night scythes
etc. competitive stuff with destroyers
i know destroyers kinda suck but i love the model!

What point value are you looking for? Also are you looking for a general list or against a specific army/enemy strategy?

I ask since I love playing my destroyers and have had a lot of luck with them but depends on the point value and other factors.

Hmm, if I had to use that list I might go with the below.

Destroyer Lord - MSS, SW

5x warrior in Night Scythe
5x warrior in Night Scythe
5x immortal - tesla
5x warrior (reserve walk on)

6 x wraiths (w/ 2 whipcoils)
3 x Heavy Destroyer
3 x Heavy Destroyer

3 x Annihilation Barge

With the increased range the HD groups can jump around putting down some high str fire. You also have 3 AB to do just about everything else.... add in the Dlord and wraiths to intercept those pesky assault units.

That is a good list selection. I thought about doing 15 destroyer list, with a d-lord and wraiths.

Lots of fun. Not a high model count. The A- barges are fantastic at 90 points each.

You set the criteria, I just built the list. I don't know what your facing, but I think you have a good list.

PE on the HD so your onlymissing on 2s. Your AB should be taking attention out the gate. Once you put down something with the HD they will also be targets. By then your sythes should be in doing damage.

Make sure you use your wraiths smart. Use them to respond to anything that comes at your big guns. That way they don't take to such fire before they get into cc.
