1750 point list
c&c welcome
HQ
Baron (joins the beasts to give stealth. gives +1 to go first)
ELITE
3 Trueborn w/ 2 dark lances. (small unit that doesn't seem much of a threat. usually gets ignored which is great)
TROOP
3X 5 Kabalite Warriors w/ rifles in Venom w/ 2 splinter cannons
2X 10 Kabalite Warriors w/ Splinter Cannon in Raider w/ Dark Lance
FAST ATTACK
Beastpack w/ 5 beast masters, 6 razorwing flocks, 8 hounds. (43 wound unit that has some 4++, lots of rending attacks and stealy (baron) Really Fast unit
9 Reaver Jet Bikes w/ 3 Blasters, Arena champ w/ Venom blade (usually reserves and blades something when they fly on for an easy pain token. can threaten tanks are a soooooo freaken fast that they can support my line where needed most)
HEAVY SUPPORT
2X Ravanger w/ 3 Dark Lances and Night Shields
Void Raven Bomber w/ 2 S9 lances, 2 Sharrterfield missled (lrg blast, S7, re-roll wounds), Flickerfield (5++, so I don't have to jink) Primary rolls it AA/AT, but the missles are very nice for blobs and light AT. very useful unit
What do ya think?

You don't have to explain a lot of things, like what shatterfield does... It's usually only DE players who'll comment, and we've all got the codex. I think this is actually a pretty good list, but personally, I think a bit too many troops... For your sniperborns, I think it'd be great if you give them a venom, that way they can get that AV10 5++ while continuing their task(also a possible range boost because you measure anywhere from the hull for opened-top ), it also gives you the option to reposition if you ever need to. They're as you said, a low threat unit, but they're also gonna struggle to be of any use, if opponent knows to stay out of LoS or range. It's not like they could ever be scoring, so having them survive slightly longer isn't really all that great, I think. Beastpack might be a little too overpacked, the common setup of 3 beastmasters 4 razorwings 5 khymerae keep the cost down, while not being too big a target, and they're already very killy like that. I honestly don't think by increasing their size, you'll get more bang out of it, you'd still struggle against those few units that beastpacks are bad against, such as necron wraiths, and you really won't want to kill before the end of your enemy's turn.

i have never seen beasts used so.. i dont know how to comment on them at all
warriors on venoms are good, use them for either flanks, or for objectives, raiders give them the tl splinter weapons and use them as gunboats
reaver are nice tank hunters and good at tieing up infantry but expensive
ravanger should be all the anti tank you need
void raven is an awsome anti air anti tank unt, i would suggest finding away to have the lances turret mounted but able to shoot in the front and back arc on ball turrets, this way there is no cheesy line of sight shinanagins also necrotoxic missiles are better due to the fact that they just nuke infantry, i know your tank hunting but this adds an extra infantry killing power, all your missiles are useless ageist marines, but agenst anything else the toxic missiles are deadly
i dont have the book near me atm but the guys with the 3+ armor and the guy with 2 demiklaves charicter make a REALLY good death star unit, but can only really be used with the forge world transport that can hold 16 models

5 troops are too many? in a game based on objectives? was thinking of dropping one venom unit and giving the venom to the rifleborn. and spending the points on something else.
I don't like Sniperborn in transports and when the vehicle explodes I lose most of the unit. I don't like giving up two birds with one stone. I saturate the field with low priority targets.
beastpacks are nice when they are small. but I have had WAAAAAAAY more success with a giant packs. the unit is too big to ignore and attracts a lot of attention. the rest of my army tends to stay mostly un-touched for awhile. They control mid-field.
I really like them run them with a divination Seer near by for the re-rolls.
Necrotoxin missiles are not better then shatterfield missiles. The S7 missles wound on 2's anyways and allow re-roll to wound. and also have the option for light armour popping if really needed.
The incubi Demiklave champ is interesting, but way too many points to every be worth it.
thanks for the input guys

It is solid, but the kabbies in the venoms would benefit greatly from blasters so you have some extra AT. Nothing sucks more than not being able to shoot through a metal box. Another option would be a couple units of haywitches instead of kabbies in venoms. Not that kabbies in venoms are bad, but you have 2 raiders with kabbies for infantary killing. Speaking of, these would be great with splinter racks and night shields. Greatly increases the dakka output while negating small arms from shooting them back, and providing breathing room around heavier and special weapons.
I would get more khymerae and less flocks for the beast unit. Flocks have a lot of wounds, but are T3, so you need those dogs in front to catch bullets.

Why are you putting the regular Kabalites in Venoms? As far as I'm concerned, that's the spot for blasterborn.. But if you're sure xD And, I think it's a few too many troops for 1850pts, take a squad of Wracks for some tough scoring Elites or something, it usually works for me..

Like I've said, it's a personal preference, but I'll expand a little(it's largely similar to what Dr. Serling and BrotherOfBone have said anyway): I don't feel that DE plays a good objective game, our scoring units are too fragile, so I'd rather go and live as the glass cannon army that DE is, I'll shoot, chop, slash, kill up until the endgame(if I or my opponent aren't tabled before then), then claim/deny whatever objectives I could get to, than to sacrifice killing power in favour of a few fragile scoring units, so I would rather take some blasterborns or something to increase killy power. Really though, it's more a personal preference, many DE play differently from me.

I'll second pretty much all the Serling stated.
Troops: I like one unit per 500 points plus one. Given that DE are so fragile, I think 5 units at 1750 is good.
I dislike the Reaver JetBs, so if you have the models, I'd take them out for a venom. But your comment after their listing indicates that you like 'em, so keep 'em.
