The S.S. City of Milwaukee is a retired rail car ferry that sailed Lake Michigan for 51 years. She's the last surviving traditional rail car ferry today, and has been designated a National Historic Landmark. She is currently docked in Manistee, Michigan and serves as a museum documenting and displaying the history of all Great Lakes rail car ferries.

I've been an active member of the organization for nearly a decade now, and I can attest that she represents a very little known, but extremely important part of our history. Helping this fundraiser out will go a long way towards preserving her for many years to come.
