Subject: Random Images Round 2, now with Battlefleet Gothic

Started one of these a while back and it trailed off. It had Skorne in it, that I recently sold and honestly regretted the sale. So rather then learn from my mistake and take one on the chin, I bought back into Skorne. This blog will contain a lil bit of eveything, as my painting desk spans across many game systems. I paint for the table. That being said I spend time on random models when the mood hits me.

actually it was just random bitz. The joy of the ordanitus group is that they are basically titan class weapons attached to a makeshift carriage so they can vary widely in their appearance.

More randomness. Finished of Dannon Bluthe and Bull. My mercs in general get less brush time then the skorne since they see the table more often and are often under the light for touch ups due to rough play. DBnB rarely see the table, but I am a sucker for theme lists.

Finished off Karn this morning. The off color scheme is to represent his character status as well as a throwback to my first Skorne theme.
up next i think i will knock out a few minions and then another troop unit, gators most likely or some swordsman.

thanks for the kinds words. I do work at an expedited pace at times. I usually sacrifice sleep and crush weekly homework early so I can get into long painting runs.

another side project. a while back i learned the flaw of selling models from main armies and i loosed some highshields from my merc collection. well now that Ossrum is out i have been testing them again and they are better. so i picked up the full unit with UA again not wanting to make that mistake again. based and washed the first 5.
looking at getting these guys out prey quick for a game on tuesday.

Finished off a Witch Doctor for Minions. Also a unit of Immortals, taking my unit count down to three (plus a Tycom). I picked up a small local commission for some Menoth stuff so I would be busting that out for the next week. Just a few jacks and a caster for now, more to follow if I take a complete job.

Back from the Dead!
Backing off from Warmahordes for a sec to finsih off some backburner stuff. So I got a few games of BFG in this past weekend, first games I have played since Salvage left the Valley so many years ago. Anyways I play a vanilla Imperial force because it was what I had painted. I got trashed throuroughly but the flame was rekindled for the game, so i am beginning a chaos fleet based off of the ships I own. These fleet will actually be a smaller portion of a larger fleet but the smaller fleet is slowly infecting the whole fleet with the glory of Nurgle.
Working on the Styx Heavy Cruiser right now, mostly finished but I just wanna add some more rot to it. Very few ships will actually carry the MoN but they will all have the taint.
