Interesting new wargaming book has been recently released. Its not just about rules or painting, but about wargaming in general apparently. Thoughts on such a book?

Books

Yes, we have a growing range of wargaming books.

No we are not talking about rules systems here – there are enough of those out there to last a lifetime. In fact, I already own more rules sets than I could play.

Instead our books focus on playing the game. Most importantly, they help you to become a better wargamer.

How do our books achieve this?

We show you real world tactics and how to apply them to the tabletop, and even advise on how they apply to various popular rule sets. We’ll also help you to evaluate rule sets, helping you determine if a system has what you are looking for (as well as assist you to decide what you are looking for). In this way, we’ll get you to understand flank attacks, fire and movement and how to evaluate battlefield terrain.

Most importantly, we’ll get you to have a lot of fun, and get even more enjoyment from your wargaming as a result.

Wargaming World War Two Book Released!

Hi everyone,

After much typing, lots of designing and many hours of hard work messing around with publishing platforms, Wargaming World War Two has been released.

Yes the book is now available on Amazon and CreateSpace (who I found really good as a publishing platform).

So what’s in the book and what makes it different?

It’s written for both the beginner and the jaded veteran. It talks about collecting and painting armies, and even shows just how a wargame works. But it also has basic and advanced tactics for wargamers, as well as exercises for improving your skills.

What more could a wargamer want?

You can buy the book on Amazon at: http://www.amazon.com/Wargaming-World-War-Two-civilizations/dp/1484868803/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1368866293&sr=8-11&keywords=wargaming+world+war+2

If you’d like to see some sample pages, I have loaded up some below.

Those who want a Kindle version – it is coming in a few weeks.

Happy wargaming!

Justin
