Wow these are painted really nicely. I have to admit I haven't seen these models and I am thinking I may just have to pick them up.

Thank you. They were truly fun to paint. Have a few more to paint up, but will post them as they get done.

Do they come with those bases or did you make them yourself? Does it come with any basing materials?

They are supplied with 30mm lip bases, but no basing material.
They are made by me, but are quite easy to make. Cork+balsa wood+green stuff = Win

If you look in my gallery there's one folder called Malifaux WIP. There's some bases in progress.

Very solid paint-jobs and great swampy bases. Have you made any terrain to go along with these guys?

I was going to say, the paint job is well enough, but the bases are fantastic. Very nice work.

WOW great looking minis here! Although I'm a bit biased toward Malifaux Gremlins: really love 'em. Still to get some more experience with simpler crews, then I'll have to get 'em myself, too =)

Awesome stuff. I have the entire gang for Seamus but Seamus is the only one I have painted because I am SO intimidated by the models of the belles.

Not yet, but I'm hoping to do some later on when I've managed to fully paint my crew (or when I need short break)

Thank you. They are very easy to make actually. Can see if I can create a short guide on how to make them if you'd like?

The Grems are great models. I've been jumping around between the factions, but now I think I¨ve found what I want to play (and paint of course).

The Belles are not that bad actually. Some pictures of my Seamus crew in my gallery if you'd like some ideas. Not the best painted crew, but still ok

And yesterday I finished a new gremlin, so I might as well put it here too

Super paintjob on a super warband. I played these guys for a game to try it out, and I must say Mallifaux makes some of the best mini's out, I just love the concept and aesthetics of it all. The game is quite a pleasant break from GW's too, I might add.

Now get those big pig riders and give em a super lick of paint, like you did here, to showcase these models decently. Awesome work mate.

Man I love the paintjobs on these guys. Right after I saw this thread I went to a local shop and they happen to just get these bad boys in and well I just had to pick some up. Thanks for posting these as I will be using them while I paint up mine.

I've been thinking of picking up some gremlins soon.

The only thing that stops me though is how do you paint the pigs? What colors do you use?

The skin tone a combo of Dwarf flesh and Dheneb stone as a base layer. A wash of reikland fleshwash (I think that's the name of it) is added over the skin.
Then highlight by adding more Dheneb stone to every layer.
The spots are made by adding some of the skin colour to Chardon granite and higlighting by adding more of the skin tone mix.
The teeth and hoofs are are done with Chardin granite and Dheneb stone mix. Add some black wash and then highlight by adding more Dheneb to every layer.
