DA is my primary army but I plan on picking up the following, roughly, depending on how harsh your feedback is. I love the idea of pure CC Nids with lots of big bugs. I know 6th is a shooting edition and that it's not a tourny list. But for friendly games, do you reckon this would do ok? You can do lots of tricky stuff with reserves and outflanking and of course psychic powers.

its funny, if this was ment for shooting, and you swaped the flying hive tyrant with shooting upgrades, and swaped the mawl for another trygon this would be a solid list and work in tournaments XD

To really make your tervigons effective you need to give them upgrades to buff their termigant friends. I wouldn't give your tyrant regeneration or implant attack.
I would also drop one of the tyrant guards so if you roll Iron Arm you can benefit the whole unit with its power. I'd drop the mawloc too as it isn't that great in CC, basically it's for popping up and pie plating.
With all those saved points give the Tervigons TS and AG with either 3 powers or just catalyst. You need FnP for your big bugs (trygons).
Without changing your list too much I'd try:
Tyrant: wings LWBS, ST
Swarm with Guard LW
3x10 term
3 Tervigons TS AG 3 powers
16 gargoyles
2 trygons with TS
DoM in pod

You can remove certain things to beef up a screen of gargoyles which adds to the list you are trying to make by having a swarm type list.

Thanks! I was really taking the Mawloc over a 3rd Trygon for model variance. Spamming 3 just doesn't seem right for friendly games. But I definitely see the attraction. Maybe I'll model one for a Mawloc and play it as a Trygon if I enter a tourny; they're the same model save the...maw! Ba dum.

As for the shooty Tyrant, I get that they're better in 6th but:

1) I would bet you a lot that CC oriented ones will be either better, or cheaper in the codex Nids get next summer-ish; so perhaps I should magnetize.

2) I just like the theme of all CC.

I know the Tervigons are naked but WOW that's a lot of Dakka. And a lot of flying TMCs!

Tonnes of dakka for sure but carnifex are pretty slow and really perform better via a pod. Hive Guard are my personal favourite when it comes to shooting and are a lot cheaper than dakkafex.
Would be a fun list though.
