Crazed Spirit of the Defiler

So, I'm in the process of re-touching my Nurgle Daemons. I'd like to include dripping, yellow, viscous puss on some of my models (for example, trailing from the Plague Hulk's rot cannon, or being vomited up by Plague Toads/Drones).
I was thinking a mix of yellow paint (with perhaps a drop of camo green for extra 'yuck' factor), corn starch or fine flour, and water gel. I dont know if that would have the mass i'd like to see, or if it would even work. I've used Uhu glue and Tamiya Clear Red for gore effects, or drool (in that case, just Uhu), and i have used water gels in the past for slime effects, but i feel kind of lost on this puss.
Any products/recipes you know of, tips, or just idle ideas would be great.

Hot glue can usually work well.
If you want a puddle then clear resin (like $20-30 for 1L depending where you live) can also work very well and is the go-to for liquid filler.
I think (I'd double check this) you can put food colouring into the resin to discolour it yellow or the likes as well if you wanted to still have it clear and showing something like skin that's fallen off under the resin.

AK Interactive has a couple weathering options that may work.
There's Dark and Light Slime:

Automatically Appended Next Post: Also, some real water effect with pigment mixed in could do, especially over top globs of hot glue.
