Had an Idea for an all drop-pod army using blood angels, wanted to see what you all think of it.
HQ-
Astorath the Grim- 220
Reclusiarch (130)
Elites- Furioso Dread w/ blood claws, heavy flamer, drop pod (170) x 3
Troops-
Death Company x 9 with 3 power fists, Reclusiarch, Drop Pod
Death Company x 8 with 2 power fists, 1 power axe, Astorath, Drop Pod
Death Company Dread w/ blood claws, heavy flamer, drop pod (170) x 2
It's really simple- I can't score, so I gotta focus on the wipeout. Regular furiosos and one death dread drop turn 1, rest afterwords. Idea is that enemy weapons below s6 will be useless on turn 1, and flamers can help soften em up for a charge. By the time death company lands, anything that can shoot em easy is locked in combat with one of the 4 claw dreads that landed the previous turn. It also helps that the meta where I play has a very low flyer count

You can only have one DC unit (+ dread/dreads) in your army.
So maybe make it a squad of 10-15 guys and get Assault marines with free Drop Pods.

It would be cool but I'm 99% sure that the 6th ed rules say only 50% of your units may be kept in reserve rounding up(so if there are 7 units only 3 may be reserve). The tough part about this from the way I read the rules is the drop pod counts as a unit too...may be wrong but thats what I gathered. So a unit being drop podded actually counts as 2 units.

Actually, units that *must* arrive via deep strike don't count at all.

Well.... You would get tabled REALLY easily... Just sayin'. Like Andilus Greatsword said, this list does not have a lot of bodies. Heck, you can have a Dreadnought List that has more bodies than this. Very low flier count doesn't help much at all.. Intercepting Tau will ruin your day when they drop a S8 pieplate on you the turn you come down. Lucarikx

Correct me if I am wrong, but Astorath has a Jump Pack and I dont think he can go in a DP....
I would personally drop the DC Dread and one of the Fist Furiosos for a Stormraven. I would also turn the two other Furiosos into Frag Cannon Dreads. Sure you lose a swing in CC but you gain a double templated that rends. Just a couple of things to consider.

Thanks for the responses! Yeah, this was an attempt by me to fit everything I love about blood angels into one list, being melee dreads, death company, and all arriving by drop pod. As for the drop pod thing- units with a pack can't select a pod as a dedicated transport, but astorath is joining a unit with no packs, so it merely makes him count as bulky, thus taking up 2 spaces. And yes, units that must arrive from reserves don't count, and you check to see if you have tabled an opponent at the end of the game turn, so as long as something is on the board before the end of the first game turn, you are good. So all drop-pods is a viable list.
