(Is it just me or did alot of people just post 35pt khador lists? )

anyways, playing some hordes (circle and a gatormen) got me wanting to play warmachine a little aswell, going to play over vassal before i commit but I want to try something along the lines of this:

The Butcher of Khardov
Decimator
Juggernaut

Iron Fang Pikemen (Leader and 9 Grunts)
Black Dragon Officer & Standard

Man-o-war Shocktroopers (Leader and 2 Grunts)

Man-o-war Kovnik
Berserker

my thoughts were since the berserker could take explode if he takes focus, try a jack marshal (can I use the drive and boost a damage roll or no? I assume no). other thoughts?

with butcher you don't need to put focus on any jack, just spend 3 focus to activate his spell to make all jacks run,charge, and power attacks for free, and attack rolls are boosted

so you don't need any jack marshal here, in fact with p butcher you can spam jacks and you'll save more and more focus ( charge and boosting 2 attack to hit would be 3 focus on each jack, while his spell does this for all jacks in his battle group )

swap the man o wars ( and kovnik ) for winter guard and wintergaurd UA with war dog on butcher

also more beserkers in this army will work to, because with your spell you will easily hit with both axes and knock down the opponent, or for 1 point more for something that hits harder and slightly stronger, go with juggernaught, or for 1 point more the kodiak, the more melee attacks the jack have, the better it is with butcher
