This battle report i am taking my space wolves up against sisters of battle in a 1500 point game of the relic, with dawn of war deployment. I have never faced off against sisters before so this was a very interesting game for me.

Very interesting report, it makes me very keen to find a Sisters army to face someday!

I know, it might just be the rarety of the army that makes it a challenge to beat as you dont get to learn there tricks. I hope you find one.

Drop pods, WG terminators and rune priests might do better against the sisters. Pods let you get in close immediately, the terminators can take a few shots and the priest is very nasty against the SoB with only a 6+ Deny the Witch roll. And ofc getting charged is the last thing the regular sisters want - I find that it doesn't take very many surviving SW to wipe out a full ten-man SoB squad in CC.

Holding back Landraiders works provided the SoB didn't take Dominion Squads with meltas and a multimelta Immolator. A game that size I wouldn't leave home without them. They have Scout. I usually outflank with them and should be able to wreck 1-2 vehicles the turn they come in.

I wish I did take drop pods and it would still have fit the 3rd edition theme.
