So I think I am going to play Middenheim Mercenaries for the strength 4 on Captains and Champions and I just wrote up my first list for them, Does this look good?

I like the second list better as you've put more bodies on the table. Armor and shields aren't really worth it at first in Mordheim, so I would drop them all until later and invest in some more warriors.

Although bows are good for move and shoot, I prefer crossbows. If Str 4 is good in combat, it must be good for shooting to, no? Park them in an advantageous spot and let 'em rip.

I had two crossbows in my test match yesterday, But they dident do much since they couldent move and shoot, One of them ended up not doing anything for almost the entire match so I desided to go for bows to start with since they then can move and shoot. and then I gave them sword cus sooner or later they will get into close combat and I want them to be able to defend themselves when that hapens. And the two warriors that only has swords are to be with the archers to help them if anything goes bad.

Tried to get a marksman in there aswell but I only have 28 gold left so at most I can afford a dual dagger Warrior..

But.. Hmm... If I remove 1 sword from each of the swordmen and leave them with 1 sword and 1 dagger i'l have 68 gold left.. Thats 2 gold away from having 2 marksmen with bows..
