The Swarmlord
3 Tyrant Guard

2 units of 20 Gargoyles with Toxin Sacs

3 units of 19 Genestealers and a Broodlord

22 Hormagaunt Brood

The idea here is that the gargoyles screen the infiltrating genestealers while the guants screen for the swarmlord. Thw Swarmlord is the only answer I have for Land Raiders. Its got a 126 models in the list.

This is eating up 1/3 of your points. He is unlikely to see action till the later turns in which he is unlikely to be worth it for such a huge investion. id suggest cutting down to 1 guard and try for iron arm.

seems fine

Genstealers are very expensife for what they do, their saves are terible so they will have a hard time surviving up the board. The swarmlord makes themm a bit better but not enough.
Even if you get themm into combat they usualy won't perform great. Infiltrating themm is risky as they can;t charge after and will be vulnarable for the turn.

22 Hormagaunt Brood

Furfill mostly the same job as the gargoyles and feel kinda redundant at this point, without upgrades their punch won't be great enough either.

Anny form of template or mass numbers of shots is going to devestate this due to 5+/6+ saves, Its alot of models to shoot down but they will get thinned out before getting where they need to go at which point they are unlikely to have the impact needed to turn things around.

A fragile assault list like this is yust unlikely to work in the shooting edition thats 6e.

Another version of the list uses Ymgarl, Death Leapers and the Doom the help with second turn charges....

I'm much less concerned about Land Raiders as I am about Vindicators / Long Fangs / Analogs. Land Raiders bring Troops to you for melee murdering that your list is quite good at, long range Barrage / Ordnance fire you have no answer to is going to leaving gaping holes in your Swarm, especially if they have mobility.

Hmmm Maybe it makes more sense to drop the swarmlord and guard all together then and add in some ymgarls?

Well the Swarmlord is a fantastically powerful unit. I think the suggestion is just to decrease his Guard count, not wipe him out entirely. Though if you did, you'd still need some kind of HQ! Ymgarls are a good choice, I would suggest taking out some Troop Genestealers for one squad of them.

Just a thought:

Infiltrating 60 Genestealers is going to be difficult at best, and just plain impossible other times.
If you can infiltrate them so they're 18" (or less, somehow... lol) from delicious biomass, you're in a decent position because killing off that many 'stealers in one turn will be very tough. However, you'd still be hard pressed to get into CC with them at that point unless the opponent moves things closer to you. Which is unlikely given the current trends in lists.

Nevertheless, I'd say try the list out in a couple casual games. I love playing massive Horde-style Tyranid lists occasionally, just to put that many models on the table without using a Tervigon to do so. The sea of bugs is super fun, even though it's not super effective anymore.
