Some nice models! I particularly like the depth of the metallic on the first guy. As for suggestions: drilling out gun barrels will always make a model look more finished, and the bone and parchment stuff could use some washes as well.

Remember that models must be completely finished (including bases) to be posted in Showcase. Moving...

The shoulders on all of them could use some insignia, squad/company/chapter markings, etc...

You could try some micron pens and draw/write instead of painting. I'm crap at painting my own chapter's badge, so I sculpted some!

First off, they're some decent models! However there are some (minor) issues that hold your models back and if you cleared them up, your models would look even better!:

1: Grey Knights - Now I don't know if it's just me, but your silver looks kind of... flat. A wash of blue would give them a bit more depth possibly, and some brighter highlights.

2: Imperial Fists - Yellow is often lamented as being hard to paint - In this case, not that i'm too experienced with yellow, but it looks as if your yellow could do with a darker yellow/orange wash, and some brighter yellow highlights. Also the red could do with some highlights. Whilst you highlights on the heavy-bolter are effective, possibly using thinner lines would increase how effective they are.

3. Black Templar - If I'm correct, you have attempted dry-brushing on the marines backpack generator - just be careful to re-paint the black after you've dry - brushed the metal to remove unwanted paint. Also, the face could do with a wash to bring out the detail.

4.Finally, just some tips -

A) I'm not sure if your using it, but a flow aid (Liquitex (USA) or Newton & Winsor (UK) - mixed flow aid:water at 1:9 and then added 1:1 with paint - will make your paint smoother to apply, and will remove any brush marks (Did wonders o improve my own painting ).
B) You have quite a few mold lines showing that, whilst not ruining the models, are slightly distracting and can easily be removed - just some very fine grade emery boards will do - citadel do some decent ones, but nail boards will work as well.
C) Bases - quite easy to do, again citadel do some good textured paints - slap some of that onto the base, wash it with an appropriate wash and then dry-brush with one of Citadel's dry paints.
D) Drilling gun barrels - It's not imperative, it does improve your models quality, but a little circle of black on the end of the barrel will work just as well

I hope you don't think I'm nitpicking, but your models really are quite good, and I see the potential for great improvement - so I thought i'd try to help. Keep up the good work

Thanks for all the replies, i think you are kinda right on the depth of my models... i like the tips you gave me. while the fists were just a little try-out for some devastators i ll try some wash and basing surely. i wonder if i could get a bit cheaper pin vice somewhere ....

Just curious, but what do you need the pin-vice for?

These look quite good, just a couple of points, you could do with having a bit more care on the eye-lenses, a really nice finished helmet always makes the model look good, in my opinion, because it's what you're drawn to look at Also, a bit more care on the Imperial Fists, a flat yellow is okay as long as it looks good, but your trim is a bit here there and everywhere, and your Black Templar (from what I can see of him) looks nice, could do with that Chapter Upgrade Pack though Other than that, some very good models, I love the lightning effect on your Grey Knight Force Halberd, it's quite convincing :3

@INFECTEDvoltage - My mistake, I was under the aumption that pin vices were, as a 'vice' usually is, used solely to hold objects - not drill them (Which it is, having now researched it ). I use a pillar drill myself as it's quick and easy, but of course a pin vice would work.
