Hi all. I recently started painting with an Airbrush and wanted to paint my Enforcers with the guns off so I could get into the chest area. So I painted the mini and the gun and after they both dried I glued the gun in place (the hands are attached to the gun so I glued the wrists) using only a little bit of glue. After the glue hsd dried I noticed this strange white substance that I can only think of as a reaction to something (there was actually more white stuff then actual glue used). I used The Army Painter glue and a mix of Vallejo model air paints and GW washes, the area I glued was also coverd in paint. Any help to stop this from happening agin would be greatly appreciated as I dont want to paint the mini with the gun in place.

Thanks!

That's just where the excess glue has seeped out and dried. Very carefully pick it off with the tip of a blade.

Superglue also give off fumes as it dries, the fumes leave behind a white residue when they cant escape quick enough, this happens in tight space usually, or when too much is applied. A small fan can alleviate it sometimes, worth a shot next time.

Thanks everyone will give it a go next time. I managed to get the residue off with minimal damage.
