In the very near future I'm hoping to buy some unpainted and assembled Space Wolf models to start my first Warhammer 40k army. I know I'm gonna need a lot of colors to paint Space Wolves proper, I just like to know what is the best way to go about getting all the colors I need?

Adding to the above what paints do most people use? I know there are 5 or so brands people use, most not from Games Workshop, mostly due to the new colors not matching the old ones, though I'm sure price has something to do with it to.

Here's the colors I'm near 100% sure I want: (Using New Citadel color names for the sake of convenience)

Fenrisian Grey
Auric Armour Gold
Celestra Grey
The Fang
Karak Stone
Kislev Flesh (can't find a better flesh tone for Space Wolves)
Wazdakka Red (for shoulder pads, again can't think of a better color)
Leadbelcher
Nuln Oil

So, among other questions, what else do I need and whats the best way to get started painting Space Wolves, assuming that as is true that I'm a newbie who hasn't painted since 5th grade... lol

Also open to suggestions for other colors/paint brands to use.

Wow, thanks for all info guys, I really didn't think their was really that much to painting models, granted I didn't think it would be nearly as easy as paint by numbers, but still.

So where do I find all the paint colors I need? Assuming I chose to use Citadel Paints for the sake of being a newbie, where do I start finding colors?

I don't think their is such a thing as a "Space Wolves Starter Paint" pack, so what would be the best way of getting the must have colors?

Also can anyone give me a complete newbie run down of everything I'll need to paint and do basic assembly and kuzomisin' of my models? (Once again assuming I have nothin' to start with)

Also its nice to know their are fellow wolf brothers here on Dakka, I get tired of hanging out with the Ultra Smurfs and the Dark Emos after awhile.
