Judging from my existing Wraithlord models I'd say -
Wraithguard/Blades will probably need quite small magnets. I use 3x1mm on my Wraithlord, and they are about the size of the wrist section of the arm, so fit quite neatly. I recently got a bunch of 2x1mm magnets cause they were cheap; I expect they'll be a reasonably good fit for the Guard/Blade models.
The Wraithknight? Not sure. Probably fairly sizeable. I'll obviously be waiting until I have the model to decide but I'm thinking of making poseable arms, since it's big enough... Donut shaped magnets with bevelled edges + spherical magnets gives you a strong ball/socket joint. I think it should be possible to make the arms dynamically poseable, as well as having swappable weapon options. Looking forward to playing with that.
Remember that bigger magnets are not always better. They can sometimes be tricky to attach, depending on where they are situated. You'll have to use super glue to attach them to the plastic (since obviously plastic glue won't work). Get the gel glue, rather than the liquid stuff - the magnet will have a perfectly flat polished surface, which is unlikely to match the plastic side, so the thin glue can be tricky to use.
Something I've had to keep in mind, particularly doing weapon options on tanks where I might have 2 or 3 magnets in sequence, is that the magnets, being machined/cast and perfectly flat, will accentuate any non-perfect surfaces. A good example is my quad cannon (which you can see in my gallery). It has a number of sequential pieces that all had to be perfectly flat or the weapons would be obviously misaligned at the ends. With figures it's a lot more forgiving, since you don't expect them to hold their weapons perfectly straight all the time!
Another important point - neodymium magnets are quite brittle. If you have large magnets, they can shatter when they snap into place. This is annoying. So you really want to be using the smallest magnets you can get away with that will create a strong enough join (too small and the arms etc. will wobble around).
I would suggest buying a bunch of different sizes - 3x1mm, 3x2mm, 2x1mm, 3x3mm and playing with what works best for the particular model. I strongly suspect the Knight will need bigger than that - my hunch is that 6x2mm will be a good size for swapping in and out weapons. That's what I use for my
FW Flyrant to attach the wings.
Good luck
