PM get an advantage for being able to take 2 spec weapons such as the flamer, and melta/plasma gun at 5 man instead of 10. You can snipe an Icon of Excess holder and all NM lose FNP. Inflicting ID does not allow FNP saves so a T4 NM easily dies to S8 ap3 without cover. A demolisher cannon with S10 is required to ID a PM. NM can purchase ccw while PM are armed with plague knives that have poison 4+. NM can hit at I5 while PM blight grenades negates enemy charge attack bonus. PM can kill hordes with flamers, melt AV 13&14, Kill TEq with rapid plasma guns. NM mow down guards, orks, armor save 5+ with sonic blasters while the blastmaster is a small blast that kills MEq but a Heldrake with a bale flamer can already do that. The Blast Master has a small chance to pen AV13 and an even lesser chance to glance AV14.
Bikers, MoS, IoE are like fast moving PM. Bikers, MoN can still die to small arms fire since S4 only needs a 5+ to wound a MoN biker. Spawns with MoN is the better choice since they are daemons and get a 5++ invulsave.
