Hey Guys,
Ive been painting for a good few years now and have decided it finally time to show off my projects! These will eventually range from desired whim to desired whim. But for starters I’m going to be posting my latest project, the feared ork clan ‘Da Dark Reapaz’.
I’ve already completed a few units which i will show off, but there a work in progress’s to follow. Fear the green tide!
i wanted the orks skin to be darker as they progress in rank, the nob squad which i will upload later will be darker then the squad nob, and the boss will be almost black, not to shure about the squad nobs skin may need ammending

Thanks SelvaggioSaky,
Another mob, small one, eventually I’m going to be painting up a warboss in mega armour to go with this unit, love these models, good price too.
The nobz skin is much darker then the unit nobz, i want it the skin darkening as they become harder to be visible like it should be.
Sorry about the last 3 pictures, deciding if i want them auto corrected or not, i think in future ill have them corrected

Hey guys, another update.
Not an ork update, But a Imperial guard one! Yes, i do so love the imperial guard. Over the last few days ive pinched a few leman russes from my bits box, (i had abut 5 unmade ). I decided to get them painted up, and try out a few techniques.
I went for typical caidan Colour scheme. And here i have the finished unit, the Cadian 144th Armoured Regiment, each tanks has its own number, and squad symbol on the rear of the turret, Had a lot of fun playing around with the transfers. Bit of weathering here and there, I’m pleased with the results.
These guys are not in my own regiments colours, so ive thrown them on eBay, please check them out http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281120208126?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649, if you contact me directly by mchl_cyn@yahoo.co.uk i will be able to sell them directly at a discounted price.
Comments and criticism appreciated
Note, the tracks appear much brighter than they do in real life, due to lighting. (they are not quite that orange)

This unit is eventually going to be accompanied by non other then boss Zagstruk himself. I may put this unit up to 15 when i get around to it. Really fun kits with loads of ork extras.
As always comments and criticisms appreciated.

Hey Guys, Cheers for the kind words.
A small update, another mob of boyz. This time with shootas.
The majority of base coats have been done here and they should be finished soon. The biggest job is the first layer on the skin, as it takes a few coats to get it on smooth (warboss is a week colour). Next job is to highlight them and then do little details like teeth etc. Should be done soon and then my ork force will begin to resemble a proper force. Both my chopa mob and shoota mob will be 17 guys large so they can foot slog or i can cut the unit down and throw them in a truck. The shootas will have accompanying big Mek with force field. Think i will need a battle wagon so i can fit the full unit in.
You can also see anoth mob of 12 black reach boyz which im currently building. They can flesh out the other mob or be truck borne unit.
In the background you can see a metal cadain auto gun team. Found them in my bitz box and I’m itching to mount them on a HW team base and re-paint them. I would love to do a platoon sized force of the old metal cadians.

Hey guys, only a quick update.
The shoota mob is finished. Going to try and get an army shot early next week. I think next i will start on the charcters so i will have a legal force, then maybe a small game or two?
Finished Slugga Boy Mob,
A few of the boyz
The Units Nob, and a rokkit launcher boy, a nig shoota would probably be more effective bt i do like the look of this guy.

Hey guys, Managed to get some good work done on the HQ’s. An Ork big mek with custom force field, for all those orky cover save needs. An incredibly fun model to paint.
In the mob!
Also a Wip of the ork warboss in mega armour. This guy was surprisingly fun to paint to, being an old model. Good job GW. Looking forward to this guy cracking space marine heads and booting dreadnaughts with his nobz...

Hey Guys,
Cheers Dreadclaw69, those are the old storm troopers. Im still get surprised by what comes out my bits box. Dont relly see a use for them so im going to get rid of the poor devils. Good idea on the war boss, checks are not a bad idea. May very well add more to him throughout the project.
In other news i’ve managed to get hold of some old cadians of eBay. So my platoon idea is going to happen!
More reinforcements for my Dark reapaz! I did not know this little fellow can be a troops choice if you have a big mek (which i do!). The deff dread! Originally i wanted a squad of killa kans to escort him around, well to follow him at least.
Ive managed to pull my dear old Zagstuck from his grave in the bitz box. I had two finecast ones (the strompack on one was warped beyond repair, so i got a second for free). A friend said i need around 15 strom boyz to make use of this chap, is my current 11 and Zagstruck to small? (11, the nob can proxy down to a boy, suck it up nob, you’re in better company).
I will see about an army shot of the gang so far, over the weekend or early next week. They are looking rather numerous on my desk.
Comments and criticism appreciated. Please visits my gallery if you want to zoom in on the Deff Dread, the top down one looks good zoomed in.
P.s. the storm troopers are up on eBay ( http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Warhammer-OOP-Imperial-Guard-Storm-troopers-Berets-/281117290970?pt=UK_Toys_Wargames_RL&hash=item4173e571da), please Message me if you are interested. As it’s a buy me now option i can always lose the models and take down the post .... and sell them cheaper without the need to pay ebay tribute .

DreadClaw , Not a bad idea but they are a bit dated to be honest, and would go straight back into my bits box until i paint my way through my huge guard collection. There will be someone out there who wants them more then me.

Hey Guys, another update.
Smallish update, but a green one none the less. A new unit of boyz for the army, could be a truck mob or i can throw them into the other mob for those situations where less then 29 boyz would be a tad too subtle....
These guys are the old 40k starter set Orks, was it black reach? Really nice guys, bit monopose-ish but you wont notice if they are mixed with generic boys and i love that. No big shoota. Might have to mooch around in a bitz box for one, I’m sure theres another unmade mob in there somewhere. But i think for the size of the army im aiming for, thats it for boyz! Not too soon either as im fed up of painting boyz.
Also im currently working on Zagstruck, very WIP, not the best picture.

Hey Guys, Another update today, a slightly more interesting one.
If i want to be able to use the squigoth as a truck its going to need a few attachments. So i dove into the orky bits that i have accumulated recently and pulled out some bits and bobz.
The biggest find has to be a fully made big shoota, the last one i had left over. You can have a big shoota as standared on a truck or a rokkit launcher, so i made a custem shoota that could be one or the other depending on the amrylist. Adds some much needed dakka to the already feroicesness of the model. Secondly i needed a grenade launcher. So my boys can charge into cover if they need to. Normally the squigoth comes with a big gun that goes on top. Ive don’t have this but there is a flat area in the back where ammo for the gun goes, huge shells. So i covered it up with some intresting thing i found (in true mek fashion), this in theory is a compressor of some kind, whichj will build up air pressure and then shoot the grenades in truly unpredictable fasion towards what ever is in front. So the boyz can dive bomb from there hand grips and the fighting platform into defenders which are covwering from grenade blasts, Or hurl glow a large chunk our of the fighting platform.
Then a early shot of the beast truck
I would love to have a boarding ramp on there too, it has a ladder for boyz to climb up, and a high platform they can jump onto tanks from. But i guess i might be pushing my luck.
Also finished Zagstruck, got some pictures of him and him with his new unit, that i will put up tomorrow.

Big green update with a healthy dose of red.
First the finished Boss zagstruck and unit. Lovely model, amazing rules, ace mob.
Yeh!
*flight of the of the Valkyries *
And squiggoth...truck!
Im happy to take this guy to the field, might add more. Was considering weathering powders, but not sure. Might do a bit of highlighin on the big buggers face at some point to bring him alive a bit. So watch out for a squiggoth face snap in the future.
With a few boyz, on top. The rest will be clung on to bullet holes, armour plates and other such positions . Ready to pounce like proud noble lions, but more like green leather sacks full of cats and dogs.
Then for fun the mob poring onto some guardsmen

Hey guys, another update, the first for a while.
These guys have quickly become my favourite Ork models. i love everything about them, and i would love to have a 1500 point pure bike spped freak army! Give me an excuse to get hold of the forge world Ork Warboss on bike. The unit is eventually going to be 6 strong and in another picture below you can see the WIP shots of the other three.
And here is the last batch of reinforcements for the army. Then i will be happy with the size. Three Killa canz because i love the look of them, and it would be nice for the Deffdread to have some playmates, or some playthings rather. Three more bikes to finish of that unit. And finally 5 more Burna boyz, just to make the Burna unit just that more unpleasant to be near.
Ive decided to hold off on the army shots until the lot is done, then im going to get the realm of battle board out and really show them off

Hey guys, Another update speed freak update.
The bike mob is done, i really want an army of these guys.
(In future i will crop these pictures, but for a better view you should click the pictures, hey will take you to the gallery where you can zoom in)
Im a fan of the no-nonsense hands on the handlebar orks. The ones who are not waving improvised weapons of death. If you stick the bike on a tilt or angle it really looks like the are speeding around like nutters. But you don’t get enough handle bar hands, you get 4 in total which is odd. Same for the killa can kits you don’t get enough weapn options, one rokkit launcher one grotzooka etc.
Awesome kit never the less, next will be the killa canz who are pretty much done, then the burnazs and the army will be done. ow and doing a bit more work on the warboss.
Once again please comment or criticize

Hey Guys, another shambling update,
This time the little green cousins have been given the spot light, and are out in force. I had to have these guys in the army. May not be the best choice but certainly a unit i love. These guys will be providing cover for mobs and generally making a complete nuisances of themselves.
KIlla Cans! Had to do a bit of mekking on one, as the kit only comes with one rokkit arm. So i made a dual flamer/rokkit with some spares bits I’ve collected. If i ever get another one of these kits i will be make them all into obliterator style many weapons combined on one arm, as i like the orky look of it.
Seeing the pictures ive noticed a few bits and bobs i need t clean up or re-chip.
And finally i took a quick snap with there big brother bully
Arnt they just adorable...

Hey guys, coming to an end of the Space Orks,
Ive finished another mob, and this mob is scary as hell, the Burna Boyz!
I can imagine a truck buzzing around the board, engulfed in fire and wooping boyz. A tornado of fire.
Also made a few changes to the warboss, added a bit of a checker to his jaw and changed the colours of his glyphs might add some more checks as they only tooka couple of minutes.
And finally, ther was somthin wrong with this tank which i coyuld not palce my finger on, when i was setting them army up for a photo i noticed it did not have any chips in the centre of its armour plates like the other vehicles, so i quickly added them and i think i like it now.
For a better view of the picutres just click on them and it will take you to the gallery, where you can zoom in and see them in more of there glory. I was playing around takeing photos of the army, ive got some ideas and will be re-taking them pictures tomorrow if the sun is out, they take up a nice 4x4 foot board. Bigger then i thought.
Ive called these guys the Dark Reapaz through out (As Dark reaper is the name of the paint used on the cloth), but i think its time to re-name the army. So i would love to hear any suggestions from you guys.
As always please drop a comment, and feel free to make suggestions. On what army i should consider doing next, what things would you like to see painted... considered for a moment just picking a random apoc. datasheet (when it comes out) and just building it, painting it, for fun.

oops sorry, missed this comment
Not much of a secret, practice and muscle memory. It also helps that i worked for a commission painting service for two years. Apart from the skin and metal everything is basecoat, wash/black lined wash, then a highlight. The skin is straight out of the How to paint citadel miniatures (the recent one). Waaagh flesh, wash, warboss then skarsnik (warboss is a takes 3 coats in some places, bad paint! But in my opinion orks are meant to be that green) and the metal gets some sloppy brown wash and orange wash to make it look messy and orky. As for the vehicles, not much ork in them tbh. Thanks for the comment.

Hey Guys, a small, yet big update.
Thank you dreadclaw, it was your suggesion after all, and a good one too.
Here a re couple of army shots. The weather is still grey, in the middle of summer..... ow well, these are just to show of the size of the army so far. As soon as i get a bit of sun i will re-take them. Hopefully they will come out better. I’m hoping to get a better camera soon. Also note ive messed around on Photoshop to get rid of unwanted background.
Going to try and play around with backdrops in the future. Hopefully it will make it more awesome, and not at all cheesy.

Hey, guys as promised a better picture of the army, not by much, but there is less flare/flash on there, going to invest time in making a kick ass back drop...
It is with great sadness in my heart that I’m going to be selling this army. Hopefully i will be able to get a game in before then and a few mid game pics, but the army is up on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=281146177048
This will hopefully fund ever greater feats of hobby-ism! There are many projects i would love to work on, i have my heart set on doing a death core army, Voytraian army, ultramarines 3rd company (saw a squad in the recent white dwarf, it was amazeballs), and of course the death reapaz bike army and more.
In the future I will be showing off personal armies and projects, projects I intend to sell on and commissions for other people. I will also start to flex my aching converting muscles. The end goal is to hopefully create a blog that is overflowing at the seams with inspiration for my fellow wargamers.
As always feel free to comment, criticise, or ask questions.

Hey guys, i have a Warhound Mars pattern titan, built and painted (very well i might add, but not by me). It was, until recently in many pieces after being dropped, but I’ve fixed him up and he’s pretty much as good as new (the only remaining damage is a missing piston on his backside, not massively noticeable). Im putting him up on eBay in the next few weeks (it will be more expensive up there), but i thought i would try to sell him to the more local community first (i live near Preston, Lancashire UK, picking him up is probably the cheapest way to get him, i can send him in post, it will be more expensive). I’m happy to let him go for RRP of the titan and weapons which is £320. Not a bad price for a built up titan, painted to high standard. And just in time for apocalypse too!
Also for those interested is an optional KR Prestige carry case, which has the foam for the titian, and is a nice lockable and sturdy case. This i believe is no longer in the KR range, but is around 150 RRP, it has room for a titan an additional KR case and books. It also comes with a tray KR dice and a tape measure, Branded!
Titan £320 or titan and case £420, any questions please message me, also have more pics

Hey guys, not only moving away from Orks, Moving away from 40k!
Going to be putting up some pictures of my Empire Ostermark army! FOR THE SIGAMR! One of my favourite Fantasy armies. This is a labour of love, and has been on and off for about a year and a half. At the moment its a sizable painted army, not a good one army list wise. I am also constantly adding bits and bobs, not so much at the moment as the weather is a bit too hot for painting.
First i will be putting up my favourite hero in the entire fantasy world, the humble warrior priest.... and or arch lector. I’ve only got three in my current empire army (have an old ostland empire army, it is outdate paintjob wise and has been disbanded).
I had wanted this model for a long time, never wanted to buy him because of his crazy big hands, but got a metal one in a trade! Thanks dave.
Then the plastic warrior priest from the war alter kit, one of the first model s painted for the army, a good fear and a half old now.
And finally, when the newest fine cast guy came out i bought him. Fondly disliked his face and one of his hammers had a huge bubble in it. Also i never arm them with two weapons, so a bit of converting had to be done. i now love this guy, he is one of the last guys i painted for this army a few weeks ago when i was fed up of orks.
As always please leave comments and feedback. Would love to hear from fellow empire players.

Hey Guys, more of the Empire! This beasty was one hard thing to paint.
The Celestial Hurricanum! It was painted over the course of a year or so, in total it must have taken 24-34 hours. A really demanding kit. It took some inspiration for me to raise my morale enough to finish it. it is wonderful and i like the in game rules to, its bound spell can if you’re lucky turn an enemy unit around so its facing the wrong way! Or is your unlucky it will just summon a rain storm to drench your opponents troops.... a minor annoyance more then anything.
So much stuff going on!
Also in the kit you get two acolytes, who can man the machine, and a wizard. Love the new fantasy kits with optional foot heroes!
Had a tonne of fun doing the globes and orbs all around the model. Now the hatred of having to paint it has faded, i feel like i can do it again, better. Also not the pink purple, draped over the horses. Showing allegiance to the province of ostermark, and a way to unite the College of Magic’s valued war engine with my province.
As always comments, criticism and suggestion all welcome!
