Heya! I'm building a HH army, and I realised whether I should take a terminator squad with Cataphractii armor, or keep the vanilla (as in tartaros pattern). I don't have the rules in hand right now, but is the Cataphractii armor worth the points cost AND SbP? Thanks!

Hey man.
In my oppinion it depends heavily on what Legion you are using, but Cataphracti is the way forward for most of them.,

I'm working on Ultramarines*/Iron Hands/Mechanicum, with termies being in both legions, so.....? For my Ultras the squad will most likely be in a Spartan/Storm Eagle (I haven't decided on which one of the two yet), but the Iron Hands (who don't come into play with a transport) will definitely be Cataphractii pattern. Blub.
*Ultramarines as in the cool space-romans from Know no Fear -- this is the Legio XIII from a long-forgotten time, a time before the infamous Wardian Heresy.

Seeing as this thread has died from my mentioning of Ultramarines, I don't expect to see another reply anyway.
Looking at either pattern of armor, I'm not thinking of keeping the powerfists, but between power axes and thunder hammers which is a better non- MEQ choice (or rather anti-terminator)? Thanks!

Thanks, mate! Now the only question left is which armor pattern!

Note that S&P on terminators isn't really a big problem. You can't sweeping advance anyway, and losing overwatch doesn't really matter all that much on a unit that wants to be initiating the charge as often as possible.
