Just a quick question, I've been using agrax earthsade on a lot of my nids, mostly weapons and the tervi's egg sac, because it gave a different slimy shine then their skin, However now I use it and for some reason it just gives a dull color to the base coat, caliban green, instead of the shine. Is this how its supposed to be and I was just getting lucky with the shine or am I doing something wrong? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

Its supposed to be dull and matte finish, any shine you've gotten is likely from too much being applied, or not shaking the pot before use.

If you do want the shine after the fact, just brush or spray on a gloss or satin varnish.
