So ive somehow misplaced my drop pod instructions manual before even cutting up the sprues and putting even 1% of it together, i don't know how this happened..., I am in need of some dakkadakka support.
Could someone please upload the manual for me to look at? pretty please, with nurgle on top!

I did look around on the web and find nothing, it all seems to have been taken down or long since deleted and i did ask my local GW store, they said i would HAVE to buy another if i wanted the manual despite still having my receipt and box with everything else in it available to show them, also i bought it a month ago and talked with the same salesman so really annoyed at that display of service.

I am looking to buy another drop pod in the future but with little available work at the moment i have loads of time but no cash to splurge.

Hope someone can help, thanks!

mate, buypainted on youtube has a reasonable tutorial - its mostly aimed at painting but he does show a fair bit of assembly.
From the warp blogspot also has a guide for assembly and preparation as well as some very helpful tips

Drop pods are best assembled pretty much ignoring the instructions anyway.

Build the lower section separately to the engine / fins. That all goes together pretty much one-way-only, so it's a no-brainer.

Build the harness/centre console section separately. Easier to paint when it's removable. It 'rotates in' to the fins later on.

When putting the fins on always glue to one side (the same side each time) of the slot they fit into on the engine block - don't try and centre it, it will drift. Using one side ensures the fins go on square and evenly spaced.

Dry fit everything first. If all goes well, once those 3 subassemblies are done you should just be able to dry-assemble them once the pod's painted and it'll hold together. And also be able to double up as a dreadnought pod if you leave the console out.

I don't understand that PDF at all, sorry it's a little complex.

ive heard and read this but i would still like the booklet to be sure i am doing it correct, at least for my first assembly

You can ignore the magnets if you're that way inclined.

Tbh its quite an easy kit to figure out. you probably do not need instructions aslong as you use your head and dry fit thing before glueing everything should work out fine.

probably, but being i spent $50 on the kit i would prefer not to stuff it up by accident and be left with a ratty looking model. tight budget means i would be stuck with it.

With the links provided, it should be a breeze to assemble at this point. And having built several drop pods, those resources are much better than the instructions included by GW.

If i recll correctly, its as simple as glue the 5 door interior and exterior together, and moun into the base plate before gluing the top half of that on, which locks the doors into place but allows them to hinge up and down.
Then the turbine/engine part has 5 sides with slots for the 5 legs? whatever the main strut things would be called.
the interior may take a little dry fitting, but it is again just repeated 5 times around it, the weapon mount could be magnetised, by copping off the plastic pegs it sits on, drilling out a hole for magnet, and then mounting one magnet into one side of the weapons before gleuing them. ...I think thats about it really.

Why has no one suggested the obvious answer he'd get from GW. Go buy another drop pod it'll have the instructions!
