The middle of nowhere

OK first with crushing strength do you roll a die and add that to the total of your damage dice (for exp you roll and get threes then roll one die get a four added for a total of 7)? Also if two units with banners attack each other do they just cancel each other out?

It is the way of Fenris. We stay as long as we can. Fight as hard as we can. Kill as much as we can. Only when we can do no more do we move on.

Sometimes you gotta roll the hard six!

Crushing strength is an additive modifier to your damage roll. An orc with crushing strength (1) rolls 1d6+1 for damage.

Because only the attacking player is rolling dice, banners can't cancel each other out. Both units must modify their opponent's nerve roll by -1 to account for the banner's effect on morale.

Finally finished my LoER contest entry. With a couple of bonus Vanguard models as well..

Painting total as of 6/16/2019: 51 plus a wooden bridge and gnoll encampment and 28 pieces of Mantic scatter terrain and three fly holes and three farm buildings and a fire pit.

Banners effectively cancel musicians.
Think of banners as a defensive boost.
Musicians as offensive boost.
