So this is a piece I made for a competition elsewhere. It's made from 1 of my kits with the addition of a few bits and pieces. It adds another item to my growing urban terrain.

Nice terrain! Seems very...Call of Duty-ish, but in a good way!!!

It's nice seeing terrain that's not plastered with skulls and imperial eagles...

It's pretty good, but I'd say there has to be some way to better blend some of the colors because as it stands now the burnt areas simply look like black spray can spurts to me.

Nice! I especially like that the rubble isn't so extensive that it would prevent model placement! Multiple levels also give it more uses. Great terrain piece! All terrain should be done to this standard.

Thanks for the constructive criticism. The smoke was actually done by just using black paint with dry brushing. There is another way which involves burning an old sprue which gives off a very black smoke and letting it stick to the model. As you can imagine, not so easy to control in terms of getting it around the windows and doors as it would naturally be. You could then fix it in place with an artists fixitive spray.
