I was wondering if you combine the C'tan's times arrow with a wraiths whip coils would it work for the resulting test of initiative to have to make under one. the wraiths whip coils states they count there initiative value as 1 regarles of there actual initiative value. and an initiative test state to copare the result to the models profile. would it be 1 or still just the origanel initiative?
Yes, it they would be I1 and therefore have to roll a 1 to pass the test. That said, this is hardly overpowered, it takes a fair bit of maneuvering to pull it off and a lot of points sunk into a 1-trick pony C'tan.
so does that mean that whip coils on a wraith change the Initiative on the profile for determining the characteristic tests the enemy has to pass for some rule they have, until the bases are no longer touching?
Kind of? The way you asked it is strange to me. It just means that while a model is in base to base contact with a Whip Coil it (the model) behaves as if it was Initiative 1. So any Initiative tests it'd have to make are done at Initiative 1, just like any attacks it makes are done at Initiative 1.
ok thanks. the reason I asked it that way is in the w40k rule book it sates that a character test is taken aqainst the model's profile. But I guess it dose not say unmodified profile.
