Hey guys I have been out of it for so long and am getting back into it. Two quick questions, one pretty noob so dont laugh lol

1) My cron codex lists the warriors in groups of 5 for 65 points. Does that mean I have to run squads in 5's (10,15,20 etc), or can I run say a squad of 9 and just go with each model being 13 points?

2) Probably going to get a mix of responses, but tesla or gauss? Main opponents will be tau and orks coming up, mostly orks though. Pros and cons of each? I think the orks (played by my dad) will have a lot of heavy armor guys, killa kans, and dreads.

Thanks!

1, Look at the first (only, actually lol) option under the entry for the Warriors. You can have any number between 5 and 20.

2. I lean towards Tesla, but they're about a wash. This is more of a question for the tactics subforum.

Math hammer says Gauss but in certain circumstances tesla can be a help. Preference usually but most agree Gauss is the better number game

ADD causes my posts to ramble from time to time. Please bear with me.

You're not a Time Lord stick with linear time.

Over 12" tesla will be better. Once you get under 12", you are in rapid fire range, gauss is going to be better.

I'd say gauss to remove the t-shirt saves that most of the ork boyz have. Anything bigger, you kill with your bigger guns.
