Khorne Chosen Marine Riding a Juggernaut

I'd like to share my latest painted work for my Imperial Fists army, a Dreadnought armed with Twin-Linked Lascannon and Missile Launcher. He was painted this afternoon in 3-4 leisurely hours, but will be based in one go with the rest of the army at the end.
I'm still learning as a painter and experimenting, so I'm open to all feedback. If he goes down well, maybe I can show some more units in the future.
Thanks.

I'll go first shall I...
It looks great, the weathering especially. If I was to make one criticism, and it's just a minor fault, but it could do with some iconography or chapter emblems somewhere as, even though it's plainly Imperial Fists, IMO iconography makes a model look complete. Excellent work, looking forward to seeing some of your other Imperial Fists.

Thank you Warpig!
Well noted, there is a lack of iconography right now, which is a shame. I plan to apply FW transfers to the army at the end, when I'm varnishing and basing all the models.
I'll be sure to upload some more. Should I start a P&M blog?

I'm disappointed that FW don't produce Salamanders transfers - the other Legions all have one and they look incredibly helpful :(. Regarding the blog - I'd say go for it. I've been meaning to set up a P&M blog for my Salamanders, but I'm a slow painter and because I'm don't game, I just buy models in dribs and drabs when I can afford them. But if you're intending to set up an army I'd say it's a great idea! I've always been a fan of Imperial Fists (Though not as much as Salamanders ) so the more the better

I feel for you. The sculpted pieces are great though!
Okay, I'll get around to beginning a blog to cover my hobby activity. I have some other exciting projects lined up this summer...
I'm fond of Salamanders. The books by Nick Kyme are good.

Funny you should say that. I picked up a set of the Salamanders terminator pads and whilst they are excellently sculpted - they're very hard to fit to Assault Terminators because of the scale hides and stuff hanging down. Still, they're worth the hassle. Oh, and Nick Kyme's books are great - I'm looking forward to the next lot that's in the works
