Couldn't give a monkeys if the discount is 5% or 25% or 40% for a particular set of choices - it's boring frankly. Do the miniatures represent something interesting to get my hands on? Yes Am I prepared to wait? Yes Do I think I will get good value for money (superb miniatures at the right price)? Yes. If the answer is no then don't pledge.
By all means continue to give constructive criticism of the kickstarter, miniatures, whatever you fancy, it's your time (and it amused me for a page or two).
When people are discussing value, why are they seeming to ignore the freebies for the most part (that's a pretty big value in virtual savings/value)? Having these as paid add-ons might up some pledges too (if they haven't already).

Love the cat thing (never understood the bits of hate towards the kurganovas snipers either). Would make for a good Dark Mechanicus mascot. I'll definitely buy some vic females (and males), because they the variety of options being presented is huge, I've just been waiting for the right material. In the same way I would love to see all the RH miniatures in hard plastic (or at the very least proper resin - thinking of Mierce Miniatures), because I will be converting them and converting metal tends to leave me with sliced up thumbs!

On a different note, has anyone thought about what they might get?
Obviously I'll wait till I have as much info as possible, but based on concepts...
Lieutenant Early Bird...
One-shot Blondie
Karmina Knoxx
Ilsa Wolfenstein
Arthemisia Rosenkrantz
Vankaree Werewolf
IE heavy troopers command
JB troopers
JB troopers command
JB troopers command
JB snipers
Anyone else got their ideas?

Love the IE heavy troopers as they are, despite their lack of practicality - for me they are great INQ stormtroopers. I'm also very pleased with the mix and match ability of the troops.
I just need more of the command groups on show!
I like the lulus as sculpts, but wouldn't buy them.
The Boyars look great, the berserkers not so much. If only they would learn to stand/run/pose properly.

Even though my pledge allows for one of each, I have an excess to use in the troops and heavies section and It will be annoying if we have to do a partial order, remember what we've used then get a second wave, third etc. I'd rather just make the whole order then break it down if I'm paying for shipping waves.
They got rid of the requirement to spread out your order between heroes, troops etc during the kickstarter. You just need to pick what you want up to the pledge total - I want lots of troops and just a few heroes (plus no heavies)

I see what you mean - I'd like to see all the renders before making a choice, but not have to wait to get my minis (it'll likely be long enough as it is!). My own choices have changed as the new renders have appeared - some look great, others don't interest me any more. I'm hoping to go heavy for troops (to mix and match), with only a few heroines mixed in.

My wave 1 arrived today (I'd given up hope of anything arriving before Christmas). I went for 2 wave shipping with no extra bribes to help shipping along. I also decided on spincast everything, which looks like pretty good choice barring a few very minor miscasts.
My wave 1 was...
Charlie, Harry, Jinx
Drusilla Lepic
Extra Lulu
Karmina Noxx
Lieutenant Drakkan
Mimi the radio
Tania tanker
Natasha comms
KST snipers unit
JB snipers unit
IE heavy troops command
IE heavy troops troops
JB regular troops x2
JB regular troops command x2
A ton of bases
A bunch of coasters
Not bad (shame it took so bloody long!). Now the long wait for wave 2 (at least it isn't Robotech, as a ROW backer I'm still waiting - siembieda and co are just total bellcaps imho after the latest retail debacle!)

@alanmckenzie - Sorry those are IE heavy trooper pics (edited) not regulars. I didn't go for the regulars (so you haven't missed out in your wave).

The spincast is pretty good close up - nice sharp detail.
Total issues... One mould slip on a jailbird - largish mould line (should be fixable), two missing sections off IE heavy shoulders (bigger issue to fix, but there are enough alternative parts I don't need to bother), shiny, slippy quality to the kst snipers (not washed yet - assuming its mould release stuff -give it a wash) and drakkan has a few tiny bubbles (easily fixed with gs).
That's about it, apart from the usual bendy resin bits that hot water will fix. All in all, I've seen the same (and worse) from Forgeworld and Mierce, and better from Victoria miniatures.
