I voted for the tau flier, but that's because I watched last exile a few months ago. It's nice to know that GW can rip off GOOD anime for their model lines, and not just gundams.

That said, the best flier I've seen, in specific, has been a helldrake that was painted up to look like a flying stain-glass cathedral of slaanesh. Usually the model looks dumb, but damn...

Your one-stop website for batreps, articles, and assorted goodies about the men of Folera: Foleran First Imperial Archives. Read Dakka's favorite narrative battle report series The Hand of the King. Also, check out my commission work, and my terrain.

I've got problems with nearly all of the above. If you ignore the Avenger, the Forgeworld fliers are all better across the board with my favorites being the Hell Blade and the Tigershark.

Playing mostly Necromunda and Battletech, Malifaux is awesome too!

Indeed, they make me think of those alien fighters from Independence Day.

Although i like the heldrake for its bestial aggressive look, all sharp angles and such, i have to say all the flyers have something about them that i like.

Honestly, of the two, I vastly prefer the aesthetics of the Hemlock Wraithfighter. When I build my Nightshades, I definitely need to find a solution to those surfaces that jut out just behind and above the cockpit. Ugh.

Tau Barracuda. For me it's the perfect mix of "cool alien technology" and "this would actually fly" (which is important to me since I'm almost done with my Aerospace Engineering degree).

Plus the giant nose mounted cannon reminds me of the A-10.

Same here. It's not pretty but I like it in a Warthog way. I used to work those planes though so I'm partial.

I do really love the Crimson Hunter. Tempted to actually sneak a second one which is unusual for me but I'll see if I like using the one first. Love the model though

I'm a fan of almost all sleek-looking elder vehicles. and imo their fliers are the best of them all in terms of looks.

Vendetta all the way. There's just something very Terminator-esque in my mind to that "real world" looking VTOL unloading into aliens. The three Lascannons don't hurt things either.
