what a fabulous introduction to dakkadakka
I think the main thing you should decide is how you want to deliver the meganobs to the opponent. So for example you could chuck them in battlewagons (dedicated transport for them), and then with 4-5 of them at 1750pts its quite intimidating with all that AV14. Or for a bit of speed, keep small units but chuck them in trukks. That would really only give you 1 turn of movement, but when that turn is 24", its enough. That can be a bit of a 'glass cannon'. Another option is to run them in a horde. Take units of 20-30 shoota boys (or sluggas but generally shoota>>slugga) and wrap them around the meganobs, so plasma shooting at the
MANZ has to go through a unit giving a 5+ cover save. This can be a cheaper alternative to a
KFF mek, and at the moment you already have 2
HQs... hence the suggestion.
Of those three,
IMO the horde is probably the strongest. Its just so difficult to deal to so many wounds, and the
MANZ in this context generally work as a hard hitting support role. Then would be the battle-wagons. Generally they're good, but with armies that have mobile anti tank its an issue due to their large AV12 sides. The weakest is probably the trukks, just due the the variability in their performance. Sometimes awesome, sometimes a flop. Again this is just
IMO.
With Ghaz in there, I would either go horde or battlewagons. The main disadvantage of a horde is there's quite a few guys to move. At first I found it kinda cool, then tedious as it slows games dramatically.
YMMV
By not wanting to change what you have, I presume you mean the units themselves. I would look at at least one kombi-skorcha in each
MANZ unit. They're quite useful, on the other hand kombi-rokkits are not so don't bother with them. Also an attack squig is always a good investment on the warboss.
