Just heard from very reliable source Fantasy Flight is in negotiations to purchace Games Workshop. Any one else hear this. Makes since with all that is going on including them dumping Dust to battlefront

GW is almost certainly bigger and if GW wants to be bought out it will to someone with much deeper pockets.

Well, it's not unheard of that small companies (try to) take over bigger ones. Porsche's hostile takeover-attempt of VW comes to mind.

Not that this would make this particular rumour any more likely.

I dont think its trolling. If anything, its more akin to a "redshirt told me" rumor/smalltalk/gossip.

As wonderful as the idea is, it's never gonna happen. The only game company that would try to buy GW is most likely Hasbro/WotC.

Now, the truly horrifying thought, is that the poster may have gotten the news the wrong way around, and that it is actually GW buying FFG.
