Yes.
Deepstriking wraiths means they get into close combat slower, are much more vulnerable to blast and template weapons, and makes them vulnerable to interceptor fire, and run terrible risks with mishapping.
Plus, you have to sit there twiddling your thumbs and letting your opponent shoot you once if you deepstrike before you can get into assault. You're likely having exactly the same one-turn exposure if you start them on the board and run them forward. Plus, if your opponent is running a get-in-your-face kind of army (like
DA, amongst others), then you can get a turn 1 charge off.
No gain. Lots of potential downside.
Just start them on the board.
