Hello
we are starting a new club in the uk
we have to buy at least ten tables, we want to keep the cost down of starting up and we have the ply already
what i was hoping is that someone would know of a company that did cheap static grass mats 6x4 or 8x4
if you can help that would be great

I'd forgo the idea of a static grass mat simply for durability reasons and either cover them with felt or give them a coat of paint possibly with a bit of sand mixed in for texture. You can then hit the texture with a slightly different shade of green to give it some character.

If you do a search around the net, you can also get large, roll up sheets that you can unroll and (glue/staple/screw/nail/ nuclear fuse/etc) to your tabletop.

Something like these buggers:

http://shop.hobbylobby.com/products/33-x-50-green-grass-roll-328153/
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=33%22+x+50%22+Green+Grass+Roll

You'll have to look around and see what's available to you as my links are primarily US based, but you've got the idea now.

Then, I would take modular terrain and set it as need be. Cheap, effective, presentable.

Why is it that only those who have never fought in a battle are so eager to be in one?
