Hey just started my first Imperium army got bunch of models, now I need help with a list. Sorry about the here my models make me a list post.
So if one of you wonderful people want to help me out that would be dope.

Here is my list of stuff I have. I would need to be as competitive as possible and for now not have to purchase any models.

1 Priest
1 Apothocary/Priest

I am looking for a 1500 list please.

To run a jumper list, you'll need more sanguinary priests. To run a mech list, you'll need more tanks. To run a jumper/drop pod list, you'll need more pods.

I guess with these models, I'd use all the AV 13 stuff. No razorbacks is killer, though as that is a pretty good model for the BA.

I would go with (assuming all priests and RAS have packs) something along the lines of

Mephy

3x RAS with whatever weapons you have

1-2x priests depending on strat: I would take 2 and then push two RAS off to one side and the other with mephy to the other, each with a priest.

2x Baal

1x Furioso in that pod

That should be about 1500 with upgrades, it is a solid bio-mech list that can cover most opponents if you upgrade right. You could also switch a baal for an AC/las pred (the pure las is meh, too expensive).

Notes on upgrades.

Give priests weapons over sergeants to maximise WS5 + to manipulate challenges (have a throwaway for toughies and a baddass for mehs).

Have either 2 meltas or 2 flamers per squad.

Fragiosos are good. Very good.

You have a lot of models (and therefore possibilites) so you can play around with it, but this is the sort of list I generally run and it does fairly well.

What do you guys think. How should I get down to 1500. And should I swap any models out for other models I own?

i personally don't like the idea of fists on the Sang-p though i verse alot of tau with Precision fire on suits which means they are #1 target. id suggest looking at dropping them down to maybe just power swords maybe axes as mephiston can't do AP2. with your furioso depending on what your local meta is like i love Frag cannon furiosos but i have alot of infantry armies in my local area. claws are good but if you're going to take claws make sure to also fit the Flamer in so you have something to do turn 1 arrival if you're not going to pop smoke.

drop Power fists to Axes saves you 20p
look at maybe having one squad of your troops with
having 2x Flamer dropping their cost down by 10p

also here's a tip from when i ran mephy.
if that dread drops in right next to something it will demolish.
they won't waste 1st turn shooting at mephiston use this to get him as far up there as possible as quickly as you can.
behind assault squads will give him 5+ cover a termi style invun for him and keep him within 6" of the priest you've now got 2 lots of 5+ against AP this will drive your opponents insane.

I personally like Mephiston (when I use him) more in mech lists. He's an additional drain on anti-tank resources.
