Guarding Guardian

At the moment I have roughly 600 points. I want to get that up to a 1000pt army.
4 jetbikes - want 2 more
10 dire avengers - falling apart and not fully painted
10 guardians plus Heavy Weapon Platform
Farseer and 3 warlocks - might need to get a spiritseer
6 howling banshees
What I am looking at - 10 scorpions, 3 vypers, 3 war walkers, Fire dragons, Wave serpent, Spiritseer, Falcon/Fire Prism.
Obviously this is more than 1000pts but I would be grateful if you help me build an army together. I will be playing many orks and space marines so possibly a horde list and specialist list.
Thanks
The masked slayer

Don't really need a Spiritseer unless you want Wraith squads as your bulk troops. Those Banshees will just die before they get anywhere, leave them at home. Scorpions are good, might want to look at Warp Spiders too.
I'd go for War Walkers over Vypers but the Heavy Support slots are heavily contested so it depends on how much else you want there.

This should probably be in the army list section, I will work out a list when my book arrives later today and try to help you later though.

If you have enough cash, I'd say fire dragons in a wave serpent. Failing that a fire prism. You can never have enough guns...

Its because ordinance is still a word.
However, firing ordinance at someone isn't nearly as threatening as firing ordnance at someone.
Ordinance is a local law, or bill, or other form of legislation.
Ordnance is high caliber explosives.
No 'I' in ordnance.
Don't drown the enemy in legislation, drown them in explosives. |

I agree with PredaKhaine, Wave Serpents are great with the new book, I'd say get as many as you can.
Jetbikes are awesome so more bikes is good but they're a lot less versatile in large number, ie; after one small squad you're only really able to make one kind of list, Serpents are great because you can vary what you carry to mix it up.
