IDK if this would work, I am a newb and I don't have my BRB with me. However, I am pretty sure SM and Tau are BB. This would mean AunVa can join a unit of Terminators. Again, I am not sure of that either. If I am wrong, please correct me. With his Paradox of Duality, the terminators would get their normal save vs anything that would
normally take their armor save. If, to counter this, the opponent fired with bolters or something, the terminators get their armor Sv, and then get to take a 5+ save. It would be an absolute r***train, especially with THSS to CC with them. Also, this would mean melta couldn't kill them at all, and plasma cannons on Leman Russes would still grant the Termis a 2+ save. Tell me what you think about it...

Aun'va cannot join any unit since he and his honorguard form a unit and he doesn't have the IC rule.

AunVa can be JOINED by IC termies, however. I find Blood Angels a fun codex to do this with, for obvious reasons.

Obvious reasons like that it's illegal? Only Eldar and Codex Space Marine ICs can join tau units.
