Subject: Civilian cars for 28mm scale

Unhealthy Competition With Other Legions

Would anybody be able to direct me to where I can buy models of 28mm scale/1:60 - 1::48 scale modern civilian cars. I'm not looking for something hugely expensive, nor do I want some cheap toy. I know that lots of shops sell them in the kids toys section, but I'm looking for models of real cars.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Imperial guard: Because quantity has a quality of it's own.
Sisters of Battle can be used in any game, with the exception of chess, Monopoly and of course, Warhammer 40,000.
After 8 editions, you might have thought that GW could get fantasy right. |

What you are looking for are S-scale cars, 1:56. These can be very difficult to find and most any of the cars and trucks you will find are around 1950's vintage. You could also try looking at farm toys which tend to be around 1:64 scale so are a bit small.

The scale you want is 1:43
Try Hobby Town USA
They have a TON of Die-cast vehicles out there.
My friends and I use them for our Post-Appoc games and for our modern "Bush Wars" using Bolt Action rules.
Good Luck!

^ What they both said.
S is a gauge, not a scale - though.
1:43 is a scale, and a common one for die-cast models in many pricepoints (Toys r' us also has their own line in this scale).

If you have a store called Rite Aid near you, the couple in my neck of the woods has all kinds of civilian cars and trucks, they cost about $4.00 a car normally located in the front by the cash register. I picked up several of them, I believe the company that puts them out is Welly
